Sonneberg v. Mike Smith Autoplaza	Argued by Joe Gagnon in September 1999 Cause No. 09-98-00059-CV Product Liability Summary Judgment in favor of Mike Smith Autoplaza affirmed. In the first Rule 166a(i) case to be considered by the Beaumont court of appeals, the court held that there was no evidence the brakes on the plaintiff's vehicle were defective. Reported at 8 S.W.3d (Tex. App. -- Beaumont 2000, no writ).
Taylor v. Thompson	Argued in April 1999 Cause No. 01-98-00519-CV Motor Vehicle Accident Instructed verdict in behalf of our client affirmed. The court held that the plaintiff did not exercise due diligence in providing service of process. Reported at 4 S.W.3d 63 (Tex. App. -- Houston [1stDist.] 1999, no writ).
Jaimes v. Fiesta Mart, Inc.	Argued in April 1999 Cause No. 01-98-00754-CV Product Liability Summary Judgment in favor of Fiesta Mart affirmed. The court held that there was no evidence of a product defect, and there was no duty as a matter of law. Reported at 20 S.W.3d 301 (Tex. App.-- Houston [1stDist.] 1999, pet. denied).
Lonon v. Fiesta Mart, Inc.	Argued by Joe Gagnon in February 1999 Cause No. 14-98-00338-CV Malicious Prosecution Summary Judgment in favor of Fiesta Mart affirmed. The court held that Fiesta had probable cause to file a criminal complaint against Lonon. Reported at 999 S.W.2nd 458 (Tex.App. -- Houston [14thDist.] 1999, no writ.
